Terms
Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the Collos app or this website. They are short because Collos does very little with your information and asks very little of you.
Last updated 28 September 2026
1. Agreement
By using Collos you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. Collos is provided by Sithu Nyein, reachable at sithunyein.mailto@gmail.com.
2. What Collos is — and what it is not
Collos helps a group of people coordinate everyday care for someone: who is checking in, what has been done, and what is still open.
Collos is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and does not replace a qualified care professional. It does not monitor anyone's health and raises no alarms. Nothing in the app is a diagnosis, a treatment, or a clinical record. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number rather than relying on Collos.
3. Your device and your content
The care circle you set up is stored on your own device. You are responsible for keeping that device secure, and for what you and anyone using your device enter into the app. Because the data is local, Collos cannot recover it for you if the app is deleted, the device is reset, or it is otherwise lost. Do not use Collos as your only record of anything important.
4. Subscriptions, billing and renewal
Collos is free to use. Collos Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks unlimited shared notes within a care circle.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- The price shown in the app before you buy is the price that applies, in your local currency.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription from the app's Settings screen, or from your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Entitlements are managed through RevenueCat. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription; only cancelling it through your store account does.
5. Free trials and promotional offers
If a free trial or promotional offer is available, its length and terms are shown before you confirm the purchase. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts into a paid subscription at the stated price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You cancel through the store you bought from, not through Collos. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and the developer cannot issue one directly. If something went wrong that you think the store will not resolve, write to the address above and we will try to help.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not use Collos to:
- Break any law that applies to you.
- Record information about someone without the right to do so.
- Copy, resell, or rebrand the app, or attempt to extract its source or bypass its purchase system.
- Interfere with the app, this website, or anyone else's use of them.
8. Availability, and changes to the service
Collos is an independent project and is provided as it is, as it becomes available. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, we will say so plainly before your next renewal.
9. Intellectual property
The Collos name, its visual design, and the app's source code belong to the developer, except for open-source components used under their own licences. The content you enter remains yours.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Collos is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost or corrupted data, or for any decision made in reliance on the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Collos in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws that apply at the developer's place of establishment, without overriding any mandatory consumer protection you are entitled to where you live. If something goes wrong, please write to the address above first — most problems are quicker to solve directly than formally.
13. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page moves. Continuing to use Collos after a change means you accept the updated terms.
