Collos is a care-coordination app. This page explains what it stores, what it sends, and what it never asks for. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Last updated 28 September 2026
The short version
- No account and no sign-up. Collos never asks for your name or email address.
- The care circle you build stays on your own device.
- No analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no location, no contacts.
- The only third party that receives anything is RevenueCat, and only when you subscribe.
- No medical records. No diagnosis. Nothing you enter is shared with anyone else.
Who is responsible
Collos is an independent project developed and operated by Sithu Nyein. For anything on this page, the developer is the data controller. You can reach a person at sithunyein.mailto@gmail.com.
What is stored on your device
Collos holds the care coordination you set up: the people you are caring for, the care moments in a day, whether each moment has been confirmed, skipped or left open, and the short notes you write for the next person. This information lives in local app storage on the device you entered it on.
It is not uploaded anywhere. There is no Collos server holding it, and no one else — including other members of a care circle on their own phones — can read it from a Collos service, because no such service exists yet. Because it is device-local, uninstalling the app removes it permanently.
What RevenueCat receives when you subscribe
Optional subscriptions are sold through RevenueCat, which sits between the app and the App Store or Google Play. If you buy Collos Pro, RevenueCat receives:
- An app user ID. Collos does not sign you in, so this is an anonymous identifier RevenueCat generates for the installation.
- Which product you bought, and when it started, renews or expires.
- The platform you are on, and technical details needed to validate the receipt.
RevenueCat never sees your card or your name. Apple or Google processes the payment under their own privacy policies, and Collos receives only the resulting entitlement. The app's Settings screen shows the app user ID currently in use so you can quote it if you ask us to delete it.
What the hosting provider sees
The website and the browser version of the app are served by Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, user agent and the time of the request — for security and operations. Collos adds nothing to those logs and runs no analytics on top of them.
What Collos does not collect
- No name, email address, phone number or postal address.
- No location data of any kind.
- No contacts, calendar, photos, camera or microphone access.
- No health data, and no medical or treatment records.
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising SDK of any kind.
- No third-party analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDK.
Collos does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, because none of it happens.
Children
Collos is not directed at children under 13. It is not designed to be used by, or to collect information from, anyone under that age, and it does not knowingly collect any.
Retention, your rights, and deletion
Anything you entered in the app is kept only on your device, for as long as you keep the app installed. Uninstalling Collos deletes it.
Purchase records held by RevenueCat are retained under RevenueCat's own policy and the record-keeping obligations that apply to subscription billing.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of those rights, email sithunyein.mailto@gmail.com with the app user ID shown in Collos under Settings. Because the identifier is anonymous, that ID is usually the only way to locate a purchase record — and we will confirm in writing once it has been deleted.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, the legal bases for processing are the performance of a contract when you subscribe, and legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and preventing payment fraud.
Third-party services
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlement management.
- Apple or Google — payment processing for App Store and Google Play purchases.
- Vercel — hosting for this website and for the browser build of the app.
Some of these providers process data outside your country. Where they do, the transfer relies on the safeguards named in each provider's own policy.
Not medical advice
Collos is for care coordination only. It is not a medical device, it is not medical advice, and it does not replace a qualified care professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page moves and the change is described in the app's release notes.
